Ambassade des Etats Unis recrute-Maintenance ForemanDuties Basic Function of the Position: Provides direction and oversight for Residential Maintenance & Repair activities at USG owned and leased properties, including but not limited to; Make-ready, Commissioning, De-commissioning, Corrective Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance. Responsible for ensuring work crews have appropriate tools, materials, PPE and training to safely perform their assigned tasks. Responsible for timely completion of assigned tasks. Receives direct supervision from Residential Maintenance Supervisor and indirect supervision from Deputy Facility Manager and Facility Manager. Expected to perform work at highest level of competency and safety standards. Expected to work after normal duty hours as required as part of On-call duty technician rotation and respond to emergency service calls as required, occasionally without direction from supervisor. Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements: EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience in construction or maintenance trades is required. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Advanced working knowledge of the building trades. Proficient at multi-discipline troubleshooting and emergency repairs procedures. Education Requirements: Completion of secondary school with degree from construction or building-trade school required. Evaluations: LANGUAGE: Level II in English and French (Limited knowledge), level III in Arabic. This will be tested. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Basic computer skills including, but not limited to: Email and internet browsing. Must be able to read and understand advanced building plans, manufacturer's instructions and operating manuals of tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks. Must be able to lead and work in team setting. Ability to supervise subordinates, set priorities and meet goals set by supervisors in fast-paced work environment. Incumbent must obtain and maintain the required physical exam clearance from the Medical Unit in accordance with State Department regulations. Must have a valid Tunisian driver's license be pass Smith System Driver Training.
